History

Wrigley's Gum is made by the William Wrigley Jr. Company of Chicago, Illinois, founded in 1892. The company originally sold soap and baking powder. In 1892 they began including chewing gum with each can of baking powder. Eventually the chewing gum was more popular than the baking soda and Wrigley's began concentrating on the gum.
